Romelia SHB EP comes from the cloud-covered Palmichal rainforest, right on the edge of Tarrazú and known for its buttery smooth acidity. The region owes its coffee legacy to Manuel Rojas Arias, who pioneered growing here and founded Beneficio Palmichal in 1933 — the same year he processed a prize-winning 5,025 bags of SHB coffee. When he passed, he left the farm to his sister Romelia, whose strength kept the quality alive. This EP-grade lot is hand-sorted on top of optical sorting for a clean, defect-free cup. Its mild flavor profile and rich, creamy body make this a wonderful blending coffee.
